Where labels are used
Labels go on product packaging, jars and bottles, boxes and bags, shelves and bins, shipping cartons and giveaways. They carry names, ingredients, barcodes, batch numbers and contact details. For decorative or promotional use, stickers may be the better fit.
Legal labelling rules for food, cosmetics or chemicals are the responsibility of the product owner, so supply the required wording.

Rolls, sheets and shapes
Rolls suit higher volumes and hand or machine application, with the roll direction and core size confirmed on the quote. Sheets suit smaller runs and office use. Shapes can be rectangular, round, oval or custom die-cut, and sizes are quoted to fit your packaging.
Materials and finishes
Options we can quote include paper labels for dry, indoor use, and synthetic or vinyl labels for moisture, oil or cold conditions. Gloss or matte lamination protects the print. The adhesive matters too: permanent for most products, removable if labels need to come off cleanly. Tell us the surface and storage conditions.
Artwork and data
Supply vector artwork at the real label size, with barcodes at a size and contrast that scan reliably. If each label has a different number or name, send the data as a spreadsheet. See the artwork guidelines.
Turnaround and collection
Timing is confirmed on the quote and is subject to capacity, job size, approved artwork, payment and a confirmed deadline. Collect from Rivonia once ready, or ask for delivery to be quoted. Labels pair with custom boxes and other packaging.

Can labels go on cold or wet products?
Some materials and adhesives suit cold or damp surfaces. Tell us the conditions and we will recommend.
Can you print barcodes?
Yes, if you supply the barcode. We recommend testing a printed barcode before a big run.
Can labels be numbered or personalised?
Variable data can be quoted. Send the list as a spreadsheet.
Roll or sheet?

Do you check legal wording?
No. The product owner is responsible for required wording. We print what you approve.
