Shopfront signage that gets people through the door

The right sign balances visibility, budget and what the building allows.

• Printed fascia boards are a practical, economical way to give a front a fresh face.
• 3D cut letters in acrylic or other materials give your name depth and a premium feel.
• Light boxes and illuminated panels keep the sign visible after dark.
• Neon and flex neon add personality to restaurants, bars and boutiques.
• Projecting or blade signs catch pedestrians walking along the pavement.

A sign is only right if it fits the building. Send a straight-on photo of the shopfront and approximate measurements of the available fascia or wall area, plus the building material and height.

• Is the sign flat on the wall or projecting?
• Do you need it lit, and is there a power point nearby?
• Does the landlord, centre or municipality need to approve it?

Approval for outdoor signage is the client's responsibility, but we can supply a mock-up that makes the approval easier.

Shopfront lettering must be readable from across the street. Keep the shop name large, limit the words and avoid thin fonts that disappear at distance. Provide a vector logo (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, CDR) and your brand colours.

Timing depends on sign type, materials, lighting and capacity, confirmed on the quote after the artwork is approved. Simple printed boards are quicker than illuminated or custom-built signs.

Fitting depends on the site, height and access, and is quoted separately where we are asked to do it. Smaller items can be collected from our Rivonia Central shop once we confirm they are ready, and delivery is quoted per job.
