Window branding

Window graphics for shops, offices and showrooms

Glass is prime advertising space. We quote window graphics from simple cut-vinyl lettering to full-colour printed film, frosted privacy panels and one-way vision graphics. Send us photos and the window dimensions and we will recommend the right film for the job.

  • Cut vinyl and printed film
  • Frosted privacy panels
  • One-way vision options
  • Quoted from window sizes

Film types to choose from

  • Cut vinyl lettering gives crisp, single-colour logos, opening hours and names, applied directly to glass.
  • Printed vinyl carries full-colour graphics, photographs and promotions.
  • Frosted or etched-look film adds privacy to meeting rooms and bathrooms while letting light in.
  • Perforated one-way vision film shows a printed graphic outside while letting people see out through it, popular on shop windows and vehicle rear windows.

Which one is right depends on whether you want to show, hide or decorate the glass. Cut lettering is the quick, clean choice for a name and details.

Where window graphics earn their keep

Shops use them for promotions and branding, restaurants for menus and logos, offices for glass partitions and privacy, clinics and salons for discreet frosting, and showrooms for feature panels. Seasonal promotions can be swapped without replacing the whole sign.

If you already have a sign above the door, window graphics complete the look. Compare with shopfront signage, and see reception signage for interior glass.

Measuring and preparing artwork

Measure each pane's visible glass area, noting frames, handles and bars. Photograph the window straight on. Perforated film needs high-contrast, bold artwork because the holes reduce detail slightly.

  • Supply a vector logo (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, CDR).
  • For cut lettering, simple shapes with no hairlines cut best.
  • Tell us if the film should go inside the glass or outside, as this affects the material and how it is read.

Design help can be quoted separately.

Fitting, removal and care

Clean, flat glass is easiest to apply. Large panels are best fitted by a trained installer to avoid bubbles and creases; we quote fitting separately where asked. If you are replacing old film, ask about removal, which can be quoted with the new job.

Timing depends on film type, size and capacity and is confirmed on the quote. Allow new film to settle before cleaning and use a soft cloth with a mild cleaner. Smaller graphics can be collected from the Rivonia shop once we confirm they are ready.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see through window graphics?

Perforated one-way vision film lets you see out while showing a graphic outside. Other films may block or reduce light.

What is frosted film?

A translucent film that gives the look of etched glass, letting light through while adding privacy.

Can window film be removed?

Usually yes. Removal can be quoted. Age and sun exposure affect how easily it comes off.

Can you do vehicle windows?

One-way vision film is often used on vehicle rear windows. Ask us and see our vehicle branding page.

Do I measure the frame or the glass?

Measure the visible glass. We will confirm final sizes on the quote.
