What stickers are used for

Businesses use stickers to seal packaging, mark products, decorate windows and vehicles, promote events and give customers something to keep. Because the cost per piece is low at volume, they are an easy way to put a logo in many places. For product information use label printing, which suits ingredients, barcodes and batch details.

Sticker printing works for packaging, promotions and giveaways.

Materials and finishes

Options we can quote include white or clear vinyl for durability, and paper for indoor, short-term use. Gloss and matte laminates add protection and change the look; some vinyl is suited to outdoor use. Tell us whether the sticker will be exposed to sun, water or handling, and we will suggest a material.

Shapes and cutting

Stickers can be cut as squares, circles, rectangles or custom contour shapes that follow your logo. Contour cutting needs a clear cut line, which we can create from your artwork. Sheets of multiple stickers are also available, and can be kiss-cut so each sticker peels away from a backing sheet.

Artwork for stickers

Vector artwork gives the cleanest edges, especially for contour cuts. Keep fine detail slightly larger than you think necessary, and leave bleed around the edge. Provide a separate cut line if you have one. See the artwork guidelines.

Turnaround and collection

Printing, laminating and cutting are separate steps, so timing is confirmed on the quote and is subject to capacity, job size, approved artwork, payment and a confirmed deadline. Collect in Rivonia once ready, or ask for delivery to be quoted. Stickers pair well with printed packaging.

Send your shape, size and quantity and we will quote sticker printing in writing.

Frequently asked questions

Are stickers waterproof?

Vinyl with the right finish handles moisture and weather far better than paper. Tell us the conditions and we will advise.

Can you cut custom shapes?

Yes, contour cutting can be quoted when your artwork has a clear outline.

Will stickers damage surfaces?

Adhesives vary. Tell us the surface, and whether you need removable or permanent stickers.

Can I order a sheet of different stickers?

Yes, mixed designs can be quoted on one sheet.

What is the difference between stickers and labels?

Labels carry product information; stickers mainly promote or decorate. The materials can be similar.
