PVC banners for outdoor advertising

PVC banners earn their keep wherever a message has to survive sun, wind and rain: boundary fences, shopfront parapets, site hoardings, sports fields, school events, sale and opening promotions, and election or community campaigns. They are also useful indoors for large backdrops where a non-fabric finish is acceptable.

For a short-run promotion, they are good value per square metre. For a banner you will carry from event to event, consider pull-up banners, and for urgent jobs see same-day banners.

Finishing decides how long the banner lasts and how easily it goes up.

• Hemmed edges stop tearing and fraying.
• Eyelets at corners or spaced along the edge for cable ties or rope.
• Wind slits let air through on large banners to reduce flapping and strain.
• Pole pockets for hanging from a rod or frame.

Spacing and reinforcement vary by size, so tell us the banner dimensions and where it will be fixed and we will confirm what suits. Installation is quoted separately if needed.

A good outdoor banner reads at a glance: one clear message, a big logo, high contrast and a short contact line. Supply print-ready PDF, AI or EPS files at final size or a known scale, with logos as vector where possible. Large banners can be built at lower resolution (around 100 dpi at full size), but small text and photos need to be sharp.

PVC banners are generally quick to produce compared with rigid signs, but timing depends on size, capacity, approved artwork and payment. We confirm it on the quote rather than promise it up front.

Collect from our Rivonia shop once we confirm the order is ready. Rolled banners travel best loosely in a vehicle; avoid creasing them. Delivery is quoted per job. For longer life, fix banners firmly on all sides and take them down in strong wind.
