Ordering is a straightforward step-by-step process, but custom bags are made to order, so details matter.

1. Specify the bag: type, width, height and thickness suited to the load.
2. Choose colours and design: tell us how many colours and where the print goes; full-colour brand printing is possible.
3. Confirm quantities: printed plastic bags are typically produced in larger runs, and minimums vary by bag type, so we state them on the quote.
4. Check regulations: plastic bag rules and levies may apply to your product; check what applies to you.
5. Approve artwork: we send a layout proof before production.

Lead times on made-to-order bags are longer than on digital print, and we confirm yours on the quote.

Bags are printed with flexo or similar plate-based methods, so artwork needs to be simple and well prepared. Send a vector logo and list the Pantone references for your colours. Fine gradients and tiny text are hard to hold on plastic film, so we may suggest simplifying them.

• Print on clear bags needs strong colours; light inks vanish.
• Check spelling and barcodes before signing off the proof.

Because bags are made to order, plates are prepared and runs scheduled in production, so timing depends on bag type, quantity and capacity. We quote it after the artwork is approved and never promise a date before that.
